our constantly evolving story
Carla Turchini arrived in London after attaining her degree in Foreign Languages in Florence and taught Italian at UCL, state schools and foreign language schools. But her passion for design quickly led her to study graphic design at London College of Printing.
Carla initially worked with large educational and non-educational publishing companies such as Nelson Thornes, Collins, Hodder and Longman Education and The British Museum Press, providing complete book design services for teachers and pupils’ books, exhibition catalogues, guides and high-quality illustrated books.
In 2002 Turchini Design was formed and became an independent limited company, providing creative & production solutions across TV, digital and print as a full service design agency.
In 2013 Miles McLeod joined the studio. He brought with him his wide knowledge and understanding of the Advertising and Design industry and a 15-year experience working in Clients Services at Sky.
The ethos at Turchini Design is “Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication”.
Carla, Miles and their colleagues are intelligent and imaginative, and work as partners with their clients to create next generation design solutions. Their approach and quality of service has earned them an excellent reputation.
